Getting Started
Set up your GRASSR account and start managing your lawn care business in under 5 minutes.
Create your account
- Download GRASSR from the App Store
- Sign up with your email and create a password
- Enter your business name — this shows on invoices and estimates sent to customers
That's it. You're ready to add your first customer and schedule a job.
Set up your business
After signing up, head to Settings to configure your business:
Business Name
Tap your business name at the top of Settings to edit it. This appears on all invoices and estimates.
Default Service Price
Set a default price for new jobs. You can always change the price per job — this just saves time.
Example: If most of your mowing jobs are $45, set that as your default. When you create a new job, it starts at $45 and you adjust from there.
Payment Instructions
Add instructions that appear on invoices — like "Pay online using the link below" or "Checks payable to ABC Lawn Care."
Connect Stripe (Get Paid Online)
To accept credit card payments and get paid instantly:
- Go to Settings → Payment Setup
- Tap Connect with Stripe
- Follow the Stripe onboarding (takes 2–3 minutes)
- Once connected, you can save cards on file and charge them when jobs are done
Why Stripe? Stripe handles all the payment processing securely. GRASSR never sees or stores credit card numbers — Stripe does. Standard processing fees apply (2.9% + 30¢ per transaction).
Add your first customer
- Go to the Customers tab
- Tap + to add a new customer
- Enter their name and service address
- Optionally add their phone, email, and billing address
Tip: The service address is where you mow. The billing address is where invoices go. They can be different — like a rental property owner who lives elsewhere.
Create your first job
- Go to the Schedule tab
- Tap + to add a new job
- Select a customer
- Set the date and price
- Assign it to yourself or a crew member
Your job now appears on the schedule. When you arrive, tap Start Job. When you're done, tap Complete — and GRASSR handles the invoicing.
