How Users Consent to SMS

Users consent to receive SMS messages from Grassr when they:

  • Sign up or log in — When entering their phone number to create an account or log in, users consent to receive a one-time verification code via SMS
  • Join a crew — When accepting a crew invitation, users provide their phone number and consent to receive job notifications via SMS
  • Add their phone number — When adding or updating their phone number in the Grassr app, users explicitly agree to receive SMS notifications

Phone Verification Consent

When crew members sign up or log in, they enter their phone number and tap “Send Code” to receive a verification SMS. By requesting the code, they consent to receive that SMS message.
