Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Grassr (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Description of Service

Grassr is a lawn care business management application that helps you schedule jobs, manage customers, send invoices, and collect payments. The Service is provided on a subscription basis.

Account Registration

To use Grassr, you must:

• Be at least 18 years old
• Provide accurate and complete registration information
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access

You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

Pricing

Software

Grassr is free. All features are included with unlimited crew members at no monthly or annual cost. There are no per-seat fees and no subscription.

Payment Processing Fees

When your customers pay an invoice online through Grassr by card, a payment processing fee of 3.9% + 30¢ per transaction is deducted from your payout at the time of the transaction. Your customers are charged only the invoice amount you set; no service fee, surcharge, or line item is added to their payment.

Cash and check payments marked as paid manually in Grassr are not subject to the processing fee. Tips collected through Grassr are routed to you in full, less the same payment processing fee on the tip amount.

Example

On a $100 online invoice: the 3.9% + 30¢ processing fee of $4.20 is deducted, and $95.80 is paid out to your bank account. Your customer is charged $100.

Refunds

If you issue a refund to a customer through Grassr, the processing fee on that transaction is handled according to Stripe's refund policy.

Price Changes

We may change the processing fee rate with 30 days notice via email or in-app notification. Continued use of Grassr after the change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the new rate.

Payment Processing

If you use Grassr to collect payments from your customers:

• You must connect a Stripe account and agree to Stripe's Connected Account Agreement
• You are responsible for disputes and chargebacks from your customers
• Payouts are subject to Stripe's payout schedule

Processing Fees

Each online card payment processed through Grassr is subject to a 3.9% + 30¢ processing fee, which is deducted from the transaction amount before payout to your bank account. On a $100 online payment, the fee would be $4.20 and $95.80 would be paid out to your bank account. Your customers are not charged any additional fees beyond the invoice amount.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any illegal purpose
• Violate any laws or regulations
• Infringe on intellectual property rights
• Transmit malware or harmful code
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service
• Interfere with the Service's operation
• Resell or redistribute the Service without permission

Your Data

You retain ownership of all data you enter into Grassr. You grant us a license to use this data solely to provide the Service. We will not sell your data to third parties.

You are responsible for maintaining backups of your data. While we take reasonable precautions, we are not liable for data loss.

Intellectual Property

Grassr and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Grassr and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE.

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, GRASSR SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Grassr from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account at any time for violation of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes via email or in-app notification. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to conflict of law principles.
